Worn thin

For those who think all is perfection and bliss here, this is me today:

Photobucket

Swimsuit shopping is horrendous at the best of times, but try it with two bickering kids in tow and it takes it to a whole new level of horror.

I need a nap. And a new swimsuit still.

  1. Does Grant not have some sort of baton that you can hit them with?!!?

  2. Ha Ha! Been there... done that... it passes... Do the best you can then you can look fondly back at these times and sing "Regrets, I have a few... but then again too few to mention..."

  3. I wish I could find some place that will custom make a suit for me. I know what I want and I am picky so I can never find what I want or feel confident in.

  4. It reminds me of that advert on TV, here in the UK. You must have seen it before you left? No idea what it was advertising, but it's the one where the boy was playing up, so Mummy flings herself on the floor of the supermarket and has a temper tantrum?
Have to confess to "copying" my kids when they argued and had a tantrum! Always stopped them straight in their tracks - and got me some VERY strange looks! LOL
Time for Grant to child-sit while you go out with a girlfriend and get that swimsuit! :-)

  6. @K I should have asked him to bring his Tazer home with him!
@Aunt Judy the fact that it passes is about the only thing keeping me sane some days!
@L I'm sure there must be a service like that ... but I'm equally sure it would cost a fortune.
@Jude I never saw that ad but I agree it can stop the kids in their tracks when you copy them!
@Sommers Sure, it's available for download here:
