Grant phoned his NZ recruitment officer last night to ask if she had a date for him yet. She said that she will be putting his case forward for the July intake (4 July I think) at the next meeting but the next meeting is only on 2 May! Aargh!
I've been asked why we don't go ahead and send our stuff with the shipping company. It's because we don't know for sure that he will start there in July, or even on the August intake. They might come back and say that they only have a place for him in, say, November, January, whatever. It's unlikely, but it's not a risk we're prepared to take.
