Gingerbread men cupcakes

I made a tray of cupcakes for the kids' school Christmas Fair. The gingerbread men are fondant and I used a little writing icing kit for the details. I love gingerbread men themed stuff at Christmas time!











And for those who are interested, here is my usual setup when photographing cupcakes (like here and here) - a chair in front of the patio doors in the kitchen and a sheet of paper or cardstock. Sometimes I'll prop something white against the chair back (to the right of the cupcakes) to bounce the light back a bit and fill in the shadows. (The tray photos were taken with the tray on the table.)
