Car colours

As you know, we went to the Liverpool Museum the other week, which was an 80 minute drive. I wanted to give the boys something to do in the car so I quickly created a sheet of colours with little circles next to them. Each boy got one of the sheets and a pen. The rules are as follows:
  • When you see a car of that colour, you check off or colour in one of the circles.
  • If you are on a dual carriageway, you only count the cars that we pass or that pass us.
  • If you are on a regular road, only count the cars that go past us on the other side of the road.
The boys really enjoyed seeing how many of each colour car they could see and working out which colour cars are the most popular. I also made little icons for camper vans and caravans.

I thought your kids might enjoy it too, so here is the pdf file for you to download! (Links fixed now!)
