School rats
Daniel brought his classroom rats home for the weekend and absolutely loved having them. As much as I am not looking forward to doing the pet thing, I am looking forward to seeing the boys enjoy their pets when we are able to get them in New Zealand.

As much as the whole rat thing disgusts me, I totally know where you're coming from on the pet factor. We have a cat right now which I loathe. Not the cat itself, but the cat hair all over my house that I can never seem to get clean, the smell of cat food, and dirty little paw marks on my clean duvet cover. At least we don't have a litter box, thats where I drew the line. She goes outside. I told Mack that when we move the cat is going to Aunty Joyce. But, Taz does love the stupid thing. I've decided once the cat is gone, that we'll get her a bunny that can live in a hutch outside. If I have to have pets (which I don't hate, just hate having to clean up after), then they should live outside.

ReplyDeleteLeith, I totally agree - I have nothing against the pets, it's the cleaning up after them that I'm not interested in.

ReplyDeleteThat is a big rat! My brother used to have a white rat named Pinky (named after Daniel Pinkwater).
ReplyDeleteMy boys will definitely have braces on their teeth - I don't care if it's popular or not where we live, if their teeth are crooked they'll be straightened. Both DH and I had braces so I kind of expected our kids to need them.
