I haven't been a fan of yellow for absolutely ages. I think I went off it in my early teens and haven't touched it since. But recently I've started adding a few yellow things to my wardrobe, starting with my yellow shoes. This week I introduced yellow into my home with the kitchen valance. I think I'm coming around.

I'm laughing because I couldn't agree more!! when we first moved here, 10 years ago this month! every single room featured so kind of a putrid yellow shade, even down to the skirtings! nothing at all at pretty as the pics you've put up! It was enough to put me off yellow for life, LOL!! I do love a good blue/yellow combo though and the pics you've found are gorgeous! xxx

then it hit my radar! And I love your colorful shoes.
I have to post pictures of my lounge for you. I painted it a muted mustard yellow cause I wanted to have a bit of brightness in the room. It works alot better than I thought it would. I'm just waiting for summer to finally come so that I have better light for the pics. Can't wait to get your opinion.
